The party busted through the newly built wall to reveal a strange room. The room was roughly 50' square with a 10' ceiling. The room had very bright lights in each of the corners. These spells were not the simple continual flames but permanent versions of something brighter. Sorefissure's friend told him that he felt something strong.

They got into this new room by using a group of stoneshape spells. The region was just wide enough for a small creature to fit through. They all used reduce potions to climb in. As soon as Sorefissure entered the room he exclaimed "I'm free" as his friend left.

In the middle of this new room was a pillar of strange stone from floor to ceiling. It was made of some sort of special stone of strange density that Sorefissure had never before seen. They examined the room further and found an ornate statue of an elf. The elf even had blood upon his sword. Thinking nothing of it, they proceeded to knock down this wall of special stone.

They found a s teel box that was roughly 5'6" by 2' by 2'. It had external hinges and a series of five external locks holding the lid tightly to it. They proceeded to bash off the locks and open the lid. Inside was another statue of a human. The human held a rod and a cape stretched out behind her. A pillar of fire appeared and turned into a Firre.

The Firre immediately attacked the party and the party proceeded to slay it. During the fight, whatever magics were holding the elf and human in stone, was released and both freed themselves. The elf singled the human out as a commander of the undead that goes by the name Candona. Several attacked her anyway and she overtook them.

Candona willing gave up the rod they sought. It appeared to be mundane, but fighting Candona was not a proposition they picked up.

In essence, the elf (Fallian) then joined the party. In exchange for assistance in finding elven lands, he agreed to help them for now. The elf was from ~1700 YM and speaks in a strangely ancient language that is difficult to understand for the others.

They journeyed back to Telerin to learn what they could of others and to await the arrival of Koranor. He eventually showed up, with the wilder in tact. They gave him the rod. He gave them words. He took the rod to have it destroyed.

A half-orc of some power also encountered the party. Clasan described him as a general of the war. He gated them to another plane and told them to destroy a pillar of light at the center of a structure. They followed his instructions at much peril to their own well being. Fighting clay golems and air elementals, the party managed to leave this plane of "magic" and return home. It would seem, another blow had been struck against magic.

So the party entered into the dungeon in search of this staff piece. They found demons galore. There was also a fair amount of minotaur. Some blind human slaves were also seen roaming the complex. Eventually they encountered some sticky webs and a group of young black-scaled drakes. Not long after that, they ran into the lair of a priestess with a more mature black drake beside her. After a large fight, they defeated the drake and the parties faced off in a stand-still. After some parle, she took off and the truce was broken. At this point they stand before a wall which reads "All your dreams are within reach, but what you find may not be what you seek." They believe that this wall was built into the caves of the structure. They sound like they intend to tear it down. The priestess suffered some vile damage from fights with the demons, so she is feeling that pain. Also from the sounds of it, the priestess has gained some teleport, so they may whisk themselves away into human lands to regroup and reequip.

As they moved east they eventually began to encounter angels. It was said that what was left of Syton was destroyed. Angels had raized the city and were out to destroy all psions. A dwarven psion was protecting a wilder as they moved west and encountered the group moving east. Damien had anticipated this meeting and left some items for Clearblade. Clearblade took the items and was thankful for the knowledge that there were others like him. He learned a bit more about the powers within him as well. The dwarf was going to head to some caves to retrieve a powerful artifact. He said that Damien was unapproachable and that his main priority has changed to getting the girl to safety. Afterall, she was one of only five active psions left in the entire worl.d The party, hearing of the imminent dangers to the east, decided it wise to move to the south on the Dwarf's mission instead. Into demon country they would search for this powerful artifact which was said to be part of a staff at one time.

To back up a step: in Sutan, they found themselves in a fight with a priest. This priest disintegrated Sorefissure. Sorefissure however, appeared later, miraculously resurrected. A good bit of luck I'd say. They all felt the pull to east, and so, they went that direction.

Clearblade was able to fend off the plague and the party felt a pull to the east. In the town of Telerin, a high priestess told Clearblade that his destiny was in war. That war would come to him and that she could help see him through if he so desired. Sure enough, mages began to attack Clearblade and his party soon after.
