I haven't blogged in awhile. But, this means I get a chance to test my backup script again. So Thanksgiving went okay. I hitched a ride and thus didn't have to drive separately. That was nice, but its such a long drive when I'm not driving. Part of the basement of the place I'm renting, has a leak somewhere and some water gathered. I'm a little concerned about that, but the owner said that it had happened before. Hopefully its nothing serious I guess. I couldn't see any real leaks and it didn't seem like a large puddle. I've been instructed to check the water heater when I get home. My closing was also set for yesterday, but it turns out that some things are delayed and we couldn't do it then. The next likely date seems to be next Tuesday. Let's hope all that goes well. We'll see is all I can say to that. So, that's where I'm at, at the moment. I'm trying to get into the house before closing. Looks like there might be a fee for that, but its still going to be useful to get in there early. The gas place can't be set up until we physically go to the office, so hopefully that can be done today or tomorrow. Anyway, there's a lot of work to be done, so away I go.
