Ramsey's CSI 294 - SpTp Intro to Game Dev - Fall `19

  1. 0 - You've arrived. We've done the thing. The first step is living.
  2. 100 - You've taken the first step. A rubber duck is here to guide you on your journey. When you have noone to talk to, talk to the rubber duck. Rubber duck debugging is a thing. Sometimes our thoughts simply need to be explained simply and to a duck with nothing to do but to listen.
  3. 300 - The puzzle eraser is an answer to many of life's riddles. Life is a confusing place and sometimes there are many pieces. But, with care we can put those pieces back together and the puzzle makes sense again. Along the way, we are bound to make mistakes. But that's okay, we have an eraser. Mistakes help us grow and learn.
  4. 600 - Heart and Ghost Slinkies. Because even if you're on the way down, the journey can be a lot of fun to watch. Plus you have the pleasure of picking yourself back up and going backto the top to watch it happen again. But more seriously, I love games and thinking about them. And one of our first case studies was pac man! This is one of the cheaper prizes that I got for all of you, but I hope you enjoyed it just the same.
  5. 1100 - Space Stress Balls. Because the cosmos is so much bigger than you. Sometimes it is important to take the time out to consider everything else to realize that your problems are much smaller than they appear. These can be squished, bounced or just pondered. Enjoy them! They're one of my favorites.
  6. 2000 - Bouncy Balls. Sometimes your energy will have you bouncing off the walls. Maybe incorporate that energy into your game. Action and movement is important during a long day of design and desk work.
  7. 2250 - Stars and Fishes. So long and thanks for all the fish.
  8. 2500 - Squishes. One of my favorites! Relax with these incredibly soft squishy creatures. Remember, breathe and relax.
  9. 3000+ - Pirate's Treasure. Because every big adventure should end with gold.
  10. 3500 - Limited Amounts of 3D Printed Companion Cube Key Chains - because this adventure is worth taking along a companion - real or otherwise.
