Presentations: These presentations are meant to be largely informal (no powerpoint required). The goal of the presentation is to share your app idea with the class, to get used to talking at different levels and with elevator talk snippets, to become comfortable answering questions and to do a live demonstration of your work. Your presentation should: -) Describe the motivation behind creating this app. -) Describe how this app is useful in satisfying the motivation/problem. -) Include a demonstration. Show off what your code is currently doing. On Thursday, your xml screens are due in a working program which links them all together. In other words, while the whole app may not be working, you should be able to navigate clearly between all screens in your project. If your project has only one or two screens, you should also be able to demonstrate some working portion of code as well at this time. -) Make it clear how each screen in your app will be used and how the navigation should work when completed. -) Discuss anything new that you've add to understand or implement to this point. Good presentations will be graded on a rubric given by read-think-write linked on the main website.
